Anti-Eating Disorder, Anti-Thinspo, Anti-Body Shaming.I named this blog FitnessGrrrl because I'm a Feminist who is interested in getting fit and being healthy.
I am a recovering bulimic - two years clean. For over 10 years I hurt my body and my health with my eating disorder, but I believe that I am in a place in my life where I can turn it all around. This is a big trigger warning for the blog: At times I will talk about the effects bulimia has had on my body as well as my feelings while going through this lifestyle change and how it correlates with my eating disordered thoughts.
With this blog I hope to get to know other fitness-minded Feminists, recovered eating disordered people and others who are on the journey to a healthier life.
